The popular politician, former chief minister and RS member HD Kumaraswamy father of Nikil Kumar of ‘Jaguar’ made mammoth arrangements for the audio release of his son debut film. At the same time he had shown his commitment to poor and needy persons. HDK father former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and his wife Smt Chennamma also present at the grand event.
After grand audio release of ‘Jaguar’ at Sir M Visveswaraya playground in Mandya, HD Kumaraswamy producer of six Kannada films and over 200 films distributor honoured the 10 veterans of Kannada cinema industry.
HDK honoured 10 veterans of Kannada cinema industry and offered Rs.50000 each to 75 suicide farmer family. He also folding his hands made an appeal to stop committing suicide to farmers. The Mandya MP Puttaraju joined hands with HDK on the dais in honouring SK Bhagwan, MN Lakshmi Devi, B Jaya, Bank Janardhan, Bengaluru Nagesh, Dingri Nagaraj, Ashwathnarayana, Shanthamma, Honnavalli Krishna and CV Shivashanker on this occasion.
Undisclosed cash, garland, shawl and fruit basket were presented to 10 veterans of Kannada cinema. Later 75 suicide farmer families were given Rs.50000 each. Earlier in the year 65 suicide farmer families were given financial support by HDK.
